En tout, avec le gala hors d'ondes tenu samedi soir et le gala lui-même, le très populaire The Weeknd s'est démarqué avec cinq prix, dont celui de l'album de l'année et celui de la chanson de l'année pour « Can't Feel My Face ».
Pour sa part, Justin Bieber s'est vu remettre le prix du public.
Alessia Cara, qu'on aura la chance de voir à La Voix à TVA dimanche prochain, s'est distinguée avec le Juno de la révélation de l'année.
Faits à noter : Jean Leloup a reçu le prix du meilleur album francophone, remis lors du gala hors d'ondes, pour son Paradis City tandis que Xavier Dolan a été récompensé du prix du meilleur vidéoclip pour « Hello » d'Adele. Cette dernière s'est illustrée dans la catégorie de l'album international de l'année, pour son 25.
