Il y aura très certainement une domination de La La Land, mais le film remportera-t-il vraiment les 14 prix pour lesquels il est nommé? On en doute.

On espère que Arrival du Québécois Denis Villeneuve ne reparte pas les mains vides. Le film de science-fiction risque peut-être de remporter un trophée pour son mix ou son montage sonore. On espère que l'Académie reconnaîtra le travail d'Eric Heisserer et remettra le trophée du meilleur scénario à Arrival, mais nous sommes là davantage dans l'espoir que dans la prédiction objective.
La 89e cérémonie des Oscars sera présentée sur plusieurs chaînes américaines dès 20 h 30. L'évènement sera précédé d'un tapis rouge à 19 h.
